Senior Level Software Engineer

Prophasys is looking for Talented Software Engineers with deep technical know-how in Big-Data/Analytic solution development who are interested in exploring opportunities in and around Columbia, MD. Our team is spearheading Design and Development of enterprise level solutions for Mega-data aggregation and analysis. You will be part of a super-talented team of front-to-back and soup-to-nuts Devs capable of contributing throughout the development process.

We are searching for individuals who wants a balance of work and company culture (Work Hard/Play Hard) and who wants to make an immediate impact to the mission and our team.

The Nuts and Bolts:

  • TS/SCI and Full Scope Poly
  • Cloud applications (i.e. Hadoop, Accumulo, MapReduce, Cloudbase, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Design and Development of Solutions for deployment in AWS
  • Strong background in the challenges of big data, Automation and systems engineering
  • Significant experience in Linux/UNIX Environments, OWF,
  • Experience with Java, GitHub Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, Puppet
  • Familiarity with Agile development lifecycle

The Reqs:

  • B.S. In Computer Science or Related Field
  • 8-12 Years of Experience as a Software Engineer
